A Biedermeier set of furniture by Ivan Kraft

The signature of the distinguished carpenter of Zagreb, the naturalised Czech Ivan Kraft, has been preserved under the drawer of the rectangular small table. Another small round table and six chairs from the same set have also been preserved; what is missing are probably the sofa and two arm-chairs as was customary of the period. The furniture set was purchased in Karlovac in 1956.
