Nikola Tesla on his schooling in Karlovac
Unfortunately, we cannot boast that Karlovac took a prominent place in Nikola Tesla’s memories. The famous inventor who gave a revolutionary contribution to the electrification of our planet, remembers one of the cities where he studied in just a couple of paragraphs in his autobiography titled My Inventions; in fact, he seemed to remember better his strict aunt rather than his big Royal Realschule, which he attended from 1870 to 1873. From this period, the minutes of the teaching committee from its session held on 11 February 1873 have been preserved where we can see the names of the commended and reprimanded students….
