Schooling and health care

Reviewing the documents in the showcases we have moved onto the topic of schooling. The complex family tree of the city’s gymnasium tells us a lot about Karlovac - a city within which there were frontiers between the civil and military authorities. From 1766 onwards, the humanities were taught in the civic part of Karlovac, at first in the organization of the church orders, mainly the Franciscans, and from 1820 under the management of the city authorities.
