Life under weapons

Life with weapons was of course a constant characteristic of life along the border, and the museum collection has acquired examples of weapons from both sides at war. We would like to draw your attention to the kukača or a heavy rampart rifle, which was used by the fortress defenders and about which you can find out more in a separate recording. The so called ostraguše, that is rifles charged from the back, also belong to Krajina’s armament.
