The locality Turska kosa

Thanks to the excavations at the locality Turska Kosa, the City Museum of Karlovac can offer a unique insight into the cultural profile not only of the Colapians but also of other groups related to them, out of whose material or spiritual heritage nothing similar has been preserved or discovered. Moreover, Turska Kosa turned out to be the most significant shrine in the area; the place is the origin of a large collection of idols, clay cult figurines which often represent horsemen of specific physiognomy and emphasized jewellery.
