The Iron age – Meet the colapians and the iapydes

In Pokuplje, the Iron Age, which begun in the north of Croatia in the 8th century BC, is also the period of local metallurgy established on the basis of local resources. The names of different tribes and tribal unions were recorded thanks to the Roman writers, and the distinctiveness of these tribes and unions is observed in the heritage dating from the Bronze Age.
