Lasinja
After the archaeological research of 1954, the village Lasinja in the municipality of Pokupsko became part of a professional discourse as an eponymous locality, thus the term Lasinja culture is used when referring to a particular widespread culture in Croatia and the neighbouring countries.
One of this culture’s characteristics is that it was bypassed by the development of metallurgy which was already present in other areas; this particular development was otherwise the ‘’godparent’’ of the term ‘’Copper Age'’ which is used in parallel with the term Eneolithic.
